BALTIC ART IN THE PARK

This summer bank holiday Baltic Square will be transformed into a park, bringing the art outside with it. Come along with your family and friends to work with artists creating musical instruments and artwork inspired by BALTICs Cornelia Parker exhibition. Why not make a day of it and bring a picnic to enjoy to the sound of bandstand style music. No booking required.

Hassle free, no need to book – just drop-in and get stuck in. Activities for young artists inspired by our exhibitions. Suitable for children 13 years and under with their families. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

TODDLER TUESDAYS

Toddlers are especially welcome to BALTIC on Tuesdays. Join in the fun, as a BALTIC artist leads a practical session using a variety of materials, colours, shapes and textures. Don’t wear your Sunday best as we can’t guarantee you won’t get a bit messy. On arrival tickets can be bought from the session leader before the fun begins. Activities are aimed at children aged 2-4 years old, but the session is open to all under 4 year olds. Max 15 places. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

BALTIC SUMMER ART SPECTACULAR

Drop into Quay any weekday throughout August and work with a BALTIC artist to create some exciting new work inspired by exhibitions of Cornelia Parker, Tomas Saraceno and John Cage. No booking required
